Artfully decorated silver gilded table clock by a Viennese master:
The base body made of silver, containing the musical mechanism, standing on four volute feet over a square plan, gilded surface chased and densely covered with reliefed and fully three-dimensional decorative elements, embedded enamel decoration and set faceted gemstones and pearls, as well as cameos. Dome-shaped elevation with enamel decoration and appliquéd floral elements and gemstone trimmings on the upper side of the musical movement housing, crowned by a lantern-shaped knob with a pearl and four cameo medallions, four truncated pyramid-shaped pedestals all around at the corners, carrying columns clad in royal blue enamel, which are connected in pairs at the upper ends by beam-like struts on which rests the toroidal clock case, which in turn is crowned by a decorated medallion depicting Saint George flanked by two putti.
All components made of gilded silver with chasing and fully sculpted decorative elements, borders with openings, polished gemstones, pearls, enamel and a total of 38 cameos in various sizes.
Wooden plate covered with fabric on the underside, serial number on the case, operation of the musical mechanism by pulling out the wood-lined drawer on the front.
Clock movement with enamel dial in white with black painted Arabic numerals, movement checked by a master clockmaker, completely cleaned and fully functional, original key existing.
