Influenced by the Fauvist Masters and their use of color and texture Lenoir’s technique captures the essence of the French Riviera, he attended L’ Ecote de Arts and exhibited in Paris, Bordeaux, and Oslo.
Lenoir lived part of each year in the south of France painting the cities, beaches, and boat-filled harbors set against the panoramic views of the Mediterranean.
Lenoir’s body of work comprises oil on canvas, pastel studies, and illustrations dating from 1959-2010.
