Antique primitive French rustic painted table, c.1850
A folk art work table from the Pyrenees area of France. Having a great painted patina and a rustic texture, standing on four splayed hand hewn stick legs. The two plank top is in fir wood and the sturdy beech wood legs have a blue gray wash to give a mellow light color. Rustic construction but legs sit firm.
