Vintage Design
A beautifully carved set of three Bavarian picture frames elaborately carved using the ‘notch cut’ technique, each of the wooden frames is held together with a cross-lap joint. Dating from the mid 19th Century, the set of three matching hand-carved fruitwood picture frames were bought from Berchtesgaden on the Austrian/German border. Two of the frames retain period cut glass, one is without glass and all have wall hangers.
