Solid and sturdy, with no loose joints and a key included. The cabinet features lovely marquetry inlay and ormolu brass decoration, with line inlay enhancing the leading edges of the shelves.
This piece would look splendid in the right location. There are no loose joints, and only a few historic extinct woodworm holes are present, treated for good measure. The interior is adorned with old faded velour lining.
Overall maximum dimensions: 111cmW x 33cmD x 106cmH (shelves 100cmW x 22.5cmD). The shelves are held in place by pinned supports, which can be repositioned by pinning in a new location.
In very good antique condition, the cabinet displays minor historic knocks, marks, imperfections, repairs, and alterations—attributes expected with functional antique furniture.
