Vintage Design
This very large rug was hand-knotted in the netherlands ca. 1890-1905. The design has been attributed to theodoor nieuwenhuis for koninklijke vereenigde tapijtfabrieken deventer. The design features floral motives and dragonflies. The colors used are all with natural pigments. Some wear and stains, consistent with age and use. One of a kind!
