Rare ! Old small wall decoration of Spanish craftsmanship, 19th century (1870). Christmas ornament or devotional. Sculpted wood covered with a thin layer of plaster or thick paint, depicting a Cherub or Putto, the head of a small round child with thick curly hair and a pair of wings framing the face. Glass eyes! Brown in color. Black hair, slightly pink face, cream-colored wings. Significant visible patina of time, wear of the paint, some very small gaps revealing the wood (quite rare and discreet) 1 a little visible above the right eye in particular, crack on the corner of the left eye, discreet. 11.5cm max width, 8cm max height, 5cm max thickness. Around 200gr. Antique and collectible piece, rare curiosity.
