Vintage Design
This exceptionally rare object is an animal-shaped candlestick by Walter Bosse, it is also published in the catalog raisonné. The animal ceramic is in the shape of a mouse, made of red shards, glazed blue. There is a candle nozzle attached to the mouse’s back. The mouse has Walter Bosse’s typical narrow eyes and a large head. According to literature, this ceramic was made in Kufstein between 1924 and 1936. Dimensions approx. Height 11 cm – 4.33 in, width 15.5 cm – 6.10 in, depth 7.5 cm – 2.95 in.
