Gabetti & Isola accomplished a very unique design with the ‘Bul-Bo’ for Ar.Bo. A black leather sack is functioning as the base for the long metal bow with the light bulb at its end. The light bulb is integrated in a metal plate with round gaps which is adjustable in its angle. With the combination of the silver metal and the black leather this playful design gets a strong appearance.
Roberto Gabetti (Turin, November 29, 1925 – Turin, December 5, 2000) was an Italian architect and university professor. Along with Aimaro Isola he opened an architectural office, studio Gabetti Island, and continues intensively in the following decades with a focus on technological experimentation. From there on they developed this interesting, hard to find floor lamp.
Please note that this item is in good, used condition and shows some signs of wear and use. There is a dent visible on the rod of this light, and the wiring of this light needs to be redone.
