Vintage Design
Vintage wood geometric sculpture. Stamped ‘A Geddis 77’. Probably monkeypod wood. Attributed to Aleph Geddis.
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Geddis admired Indigenous wood carvings of the region from a young age, fascinated by their interpretations of nature.
Being introduced to sculpting at a young age under the hand of his step-father, Aleph took to the process quickly and fell in love with form. Aleph would have been young when this was made, which would suggest it may be a collaborative piece with his stepfather.
Signed, stamped in gold.
